Ride over 165km of incredible singletrack with 3600m of climbing and 8000m of descending during this week long shred trip designed for well rounded riders who enjoy it all.

Experience true northern hospitality, discover rich indigenous heritage, and enjoy comfortable family style accommodations complete with a garage workshop area, and large outdoor and indoor seating areas. This is our home base for the week. We’ll have our own private shuttle trucks and drivers, and to top it all off, we’ll enjoy delicious meals prepared by our own in-house cook! What could be better? With trails right out the front door and unlimited daylight to play with, you won’t want to stop riding – And that’s OK because our tour itinerary is packed full of huge shuttles, alpine epics, challenging singletrack descents, fast and thrilling XC rides, and so much more!

This trip is suitable for strong intermediate to expert riders with a solid level of fitness. The riding is almost 100% singletrack with lots of uplift shuttles, but still plenty of climbing, and even a bit of alpine hike-a-bike!

Itinerary

Distance: 23km — Climb: 475m — Descend: 475m

  • Meet your guides and fellow riders, build bikes, and fuel up with some afternoon snacks.
  • For our first ride we pedal right from the lodge to hit up some classic local singletrack trails.
  • Enjoy your first delicious dinner and drinks back at the lodge.
    • Please plan to arrive in Whitehorse (YXY) by no later than 1pm on Day 1.
    • For Western Canadian travellers, we recommend booking your flight with Air North. If you’re arriving early, there are several nearby hotels offering airport pick-up services. We’ll pick you up from your hotel, or from the airport on Day 1 of the trip.

Distance: 31km — Climb: 540m — Descend: 1250m

  • After a big breakfast we’ll shuttle up to the top of Grey Mountain Road to tackle a 30 minute alpine hike-a-bike to the summit of Grey Mountain.
  • Take in the amazing views before dropping into a fun combination of steep and technical trails for about 8km of incredible and challenging downhill riding!
  • Get ready to ride another 15km on the classic and famous Yukon River Trail, a one of many highlights of the trip!
  • We’ll link up a few more fun trails and ride right back to town for cold apres beers and snacks, then head back to the lodge for another delicious dinner.

Distance: 34km — Climb: 450m — Descend: 2500m

  • After an early breakfast we’ll drive 1 hour to Carcross where we’ll spend the morning riding an amazing 8km descent followed by a fast and fun 7km XC pedal.
  • We’ll have lunch on the mountain and then shuttle 3 huge laps of awesome trails full of interesting wood and rock features, skinnies, jumps, drops, steeps, and more!
  • After riding today we’ll have some snacks and drinks in Carcross Village and we’ll take some time to learn about its rich culture and traditional indigenous heritage before heading back to our lodge for another hearty dinner and some well deserved rest.

Distance: 35km — Climb: 975m — Descend: 975m

  • Today is a special day! Not only is it the summer solstice but it’s also National Indegineous People’s Day.
  • Today’s ride is all about fast, flowy, jumpy, and pumpy singletrack – over 30km of it!
  • Fill up on another delicious breakfast, grab a packed lunch to go, and get ready to pedal this one right from the lodge!
  • After a big day in the saddle we’ll have apres drinks and snacks back at the lodge, then clean up and head into town for dinner at one of our favourite local restaurants.

Distance: 23km — Climb: 850m — Descend: 1450m

  • Another early breakfast today before heading back to Carcross to tackle the “IMBA Epic” Mountain Hero Trail.
  • We start with a shuttle up the mountain, then a challenging 13km pedal traverse through stunning backcountry on old mining tracks before arriving at the trailhead.
  • Take in the views and get ready to drop in on this fast and challenging 8km descent from the high alpine all the way to the shores of Tagish Lake below.
  • We’ll roll right into cold drinks and snacks in a scenic wilderness area before heading back to the lodge for another delicious dinner, stopping en route for a quick visit to check out the Carcross Desert – the smallest official desert in the world!

Distance: 25km — Climb: 320 — Descend: 1350m

  • After a leisurely breakfast we’ll load in the shuttle trucks and head back up into the alpine for yet another huge descent on a combination of technical, raw, steep and loamy trails.
  • We’ll ride right back to our lodge for lunch and a quick reset before one last fun ride in the Yukon.
  • Choose between a fast and flowy pedal ride on the Boogaloo trails or a steep and technical shuttle ride on the Haeckel Hill DH trail.
  • It’s our last dinner together tonight so we’ll cruise into town for dinner at a local restaurant and check out the local nightlife.
  • Enjoy one last delicious breakfast with us before packing your bags and getting ready to head home.
  • We’ll drive you to the airport to catch your flight or drop you at a hotel if you’re planning to extend your stay.
