All pricing is based on shared occupancy. Our lodge has 5 separate bedrooms and can sleep up to 14 people. Depending on registration numbers, it may be possible to book a private room for an additional cost.
If you are flying to BC, the closest airports are Kelowna (YLW) at 2 hours drive and Calgary (YYC) at approx. 5 hours drive. Car rental services are available at both locations, or if you prefer, we can provide private or group airport transfers for guests in one of our shuttle vehicles for an additional fee. If we are unavailable, we can arrange the transfer with a local transportation partner. Please let us know if you would like us to book an airport transfer for you.
We have a gourmet chef on hand everyday to create hearty and delicious meals to satisfy our big appetites before, during and after long days of riding. Your trip registration form will ask about food preferences and food allergies. Please be specific and let us know ahead of time if you have any special meal requirements.
We recommend using your own trusty mountain bike, however bike rentals are available for those in need through our local bike shop Skookum Cycle and Ski. A selection of Kona XC and all-mountain bikes are available as well as a limited selection of DH bikes. To ensure that you have the right bike reserved for your trip, please book rentals with us in advance.
We recommend riding with a small hydration equipped back-pack during your trip. These packs make it easy to stay hydrated during big rides. You will also need a spot for an extra tube, some tools and a packed lunch. We have several Osprey demo packs available for use free of charge. Let us know beforehand if you need one and we'll have it ready for you upon arrival.
Wiley is a medium sized Husky/Sheppard mix. He loves to run forever and he's really good at keeping bears away! He has perfect trail manners and we like to bring him along whenever possible. We understand that some people have dog allergies or simply are not dog people. If you have a problem with dogs, please just let us know beforehand and we will find someone else for Wiley to run with.
During the summer months of July and August and into September, we are generally blessed with perfect weather! Most days are sunny and somewhere in the 20-30° Celsius range. We sometimes see a very warm spell or two, usually in July where the temps will be over 30° Celsius for several days in a row. Thank god for the abundance of cool fresh-water beaches we have near town! We must also be prepared for rain which can happen on any given day throughout the summer. Generally it does not rain for days on end during these times like it does in the early spring and late fall, but it's always a possibility here in this inland temperate rainforest.
