General Conditions

All prices are listed and charged in Canadian Dollars (CAD).

All participants are required to fill out an industry standard Release of Liability Waiver upon commencement of any Wandering Wheels activity. You can read our waiver here.

Participants are responsible for choosing trips and/or trails that are within their own ability level, based on our skill and fitness ratings and our own trail ratings/descriptions (all found on wanderingwheels.ca). Wandering Wheels reserves the right to make changes based on our assessment of all riders’ ability levels.

Cancellation Policy

Please note: the cancellation policy specific to the product you have booked will be clearly stated in your confirmation email.

MTB Vacations, Multi-Day Trips, Custom:

Full refund less $50 cancellation fee with 90 days notice, 50% refund within 90 days, no refunds within 30 days.

Day Heli Programs:

Full refund less $50 cancellation fee with 14 days notice, 50% refund within 14 days, no refunds within 7 days.

Day Tours & Coaching:

Full refund less $25 cancellation fee with 7 days notice, 50% refund within 7 days, no refunds within 72 hours.

Rental Bikes:

Full refund less $25 cancellation fee with 24 hours notice, no refund within 24 hours.

Rental Gear:

Full refund less $10 cancellation fee with 24 hours notice, no refund within 24 hours.

Cancellation by Wandering Wheels

We will do everything in our power not to cancel your booking, but sometimes it’s unavoidable. If we must cancel, or if we are unable to confirm your booking, we will issue a full refund of all fees received.

Payment Terms

MTB Vacations, Multi-Day Trips, Custom:

We require a 25% deposit to hold your reservation. The balance is due 90 days prior to the trip – you will receive an automatic payment request email for the amount left owing on your booking.

* If you’d rather pay the balance over time, you can contact us to make a payment anytime or to arrange a payment schedule.

Day Tours, Coaching, Day Heli Programs:

Full payment is due upon booking.

Rentals:

Full payment is due upon confirmed booking. When you submit a booking request online, there is no charge yet. If your requested rental is available we will confirm it right away, at which time your card will be charged the full amount of the booking. If it’s not available, we will reach out to you with your options.

Rental Damage Policy

Damages which are always covered, with no insurance needed:

• Minor cosmetic scratches to the downtube and chainstays of the frame as well as rims
• Scratches to pedals and crank-arms
• Flat tire (puncture to tubeless tire setups)
• Broken chain

Damages which are never covered:

• Damage related to transporting bikes/shuttling
• Theft or loss of bikes and gear
• Any damages not associated with riding

Optional Damage Insurance

Our damage insurance coverage is an optional extra that can be added onto rental bookings. Each rental customer should treat our bikes like their own, but we also realize that accidents can happen and things can get damaged. We offer two levels of insurance coverage for peace of mind when renting our bikes. Any damages not covered by our optional damage insurance coverage will be charged to the customer at retail cost and will also be charged a shop service rate of $75 per hr for the repairs.

$25 Coverage = $500 worth of damages and shop service rates
$50 Coverage = $1500 worth of damages and shop service rates

This optional insurance covers damages due to crashes when riding the bike. Such damages include:

• Frame damage such as scratches, dents, and cracks
• Scratches to suspension and dropper post stanchions
• Broken spokes, dented rims, tire damage such as sliced sidewall
• Broken brake levers, shifter bodies, other cockpit controls
• Damages to rental gear such as helmets, pumps, tool kits etc.
