Trip Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival, Swayambhunath Tour, Monkey Trail

Distance: 18km — Climb: 400m — Descend: 400m

• Fly into Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM), transfer to hotel, and build bikes.
• Join us for an afternoon ride and walking tour of Swayambhunath, The Monkey Temple. Get a taste for local singletrack and experience exhilarating urban riding in Kathmandu.
• Mandatory pre-trip meeting with your guides over dinner and drinks.

• We highly recommend arriving one or two days early to catch up on rest after a long flight, experience more of Kathmandu, and just in case of any luggage delays. Talk to us about booking extra nights for you at our preferred hotel.

Day 2 - Double Shuttle, Shivapuri Kakani & Helipad Trails

Distance: 32km — Climb: 275m — Descend: 1750m

• Enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast before navigating the busy streets of Kathmandu and shuttling up into the foothills of the Himalayas.
• A big adventure awaits! Today we’ll descend flowy singletrack trails through the jungle, traverse rural jeep tracks, and ride through bustling city streets.
• After lunch we’ll do a second shuttle up to Tarebhir and ride down the Kathmandu classic Helipad Trail, and more!
• We’ll ride right back to our accommodations in Thamel for some post ride drinks and snacks and then get ready to hit the town for a wonderful evening of local culture and cuisine.

Day 3 - Shuttle Laps, Nagarkot Enduro Trails

Distance: 22km — Climb: 250m — Descend: 2000m

• After an early breakfast, we’ll load our bikes and gear into the trucks and transfer to the Nagarkot mountain top for a fun-filled day of singletrack shuttle laps.
• Home to the Asian Enduro Series, an EWS Qualifier, these trails are some of the best in the country for enduro style shredding!
• If the sky is clear today, you’ll get glimpses of snow-capped Himalayan peaks in the distance.
• Tonight we’ll have dinner and stay at a guesthouse in Nagarkot Village at roughly 2000m elevation, overlooking the entire Kathmandu Valley.

Day 4 - Ride Nagarkot, Shuttle Phulchoki

Distance: 32km — Climb: 350m — Descend: 2150m

• Enjoy another hearty breakfast this morning and take in the magnificent views from the top of Nagarkot.
• A huge descent awaits this morning as we ride right from our accommodations and down to the valley bottom to our awaiting shuttle trucks.
• We’ll shuttle back up high into the mountains near Phulchoki to ride a newly discovered super fun singletrack descent and then shuttle or ride back to our hotel in Thamel.
• After some well-earned cheer and another delicious dinner, we'll ship our bikes off in the shuttle trucks and get prepared for tomorrow's travel.

Day 5 - Fly to Pokhara, Walking Tour & Rest Day

• This morning we’ll head to the airport to catch a short flight on a small passenger aircraft featuring incredible views of the Himalayas.
• After touching down in tropical Pokhara, we’ll transfer to our hotel, settle in, and head out on foot to explore this lovely tourist town.
• Sip drinks on the beach, shop ‘til you drop, rent a stand-up paddleboard, or just catch up on some R&R.
• We’ll have dinner tonight at one of our favourite local restaurants in Pokhara.

Day 6 - Fly to Jomsom, Shuttle Tilicho Trail, Ride to Kagbeni

Distance: 18km — Climb: 235m — Descend: 1200m

• This morning we’ll gain 2000m of elevation the easy way as we fly amongst the world’s tallest mountains from Pokhara to Jomsom at 2800m.
• After reuniting with our bikes we'll shuttle up another 1000m and descend the lower section of the incredible Jomsom-Tilicho trail.
• An important day for acclimatization today, we'll continue to pedal 10 more km on jeep roads to Kagbeni, an historic Tibetan village on the border of upper and lower Mustang.
• We’ll spend the next couple of nights in a traditional Tibetan teahouse in Kagbeni and enjoy tasty, locally grown and prepared meals!

Day 7 - Shuttle to Muktinath, Ride Gyu La Pass to Kagbeni

Distance: 21km — Climb: 760m — Descend: 1800m

• This morning we’ll shuttle up to Muktinath village and visit the famous Vishnu Muktinath Temple, a sacred place for both Hindus and Buddhists, nestled deep in the mountains at 3750m.
• We start our ride with a fun traverse with suspension bridge crossings, and after about an hour and half of climbing, we’ll reach the highest point of our trip; Gyu La Pass at 4100m!
• A super fun singletrack descent will bring us to the Village of Jhong, where we’ll stop for lunch before continuing on down to Kagbeni on a mix of jeep roads and exciting singletrack ridgeline trails
• Enjoy another delicious dinner tonight in our Kagbeni guesthouse.

Day 8 - Shuttle to Muktinath, Ride Lubra Magic to Marpha

Distance: 30km — Climb: 300m — Descend: 1500m

• This morning we’ll shuttle back up to Muktinath to ride the infamous and incredible Lubra Valley Trail. A definite highlight of the trip, this is one of the best trails we’ve ever ridden, anywhere on earth!
• We’ll tackle a short but challenging climb to Lubra Pass at over 3800m and then drop in on 12km of fast, flowing, and fun singletrack trail riding in the shadows of the 7th and 10th biggest mountains in the world!
• We'll ride to tonight's accommodation in the beautiful Marpha Village where we’ll sample fresh apples from the orchard and take a quick visit to the Marpha Buddhist Monastery.
• Tonight we’ll indulge in some homemade apple brandy after another delicious and hearty home cooked meal.

Day 9 - Ride Marpha to Tatopani

Distance: 45km — Climb: 350m — Descend: 1800m

• Enjoy a tasty breakfast including fresh apple pancakes, and then saddle up for another big day on the bike.
• This morning we’ll be riding some incredible and scenic XC style singletrack trails before arriving for lunch in Kalopani
• After lunch we’ll tackle another singletrack trail before riding down a long, fun, and fast-paced descent on rugged jeep roads, through the deepest river gorge in the world!
• After dinner, a welcome soak in the Tatopani hot springs awaits us before settling in for a good night’s sleep.

Day 10 - Ride to Beni, Shuttle to Kande, Ride to Pokhara

Distance: 52km — Climb: 225m — Descend: 1500m

• After a casual breakfast in Tatopani, we’ll roll through thick jungle and pass by ancient temples as we make our way to Beni, where we’ll meet up with our shuttle trucks.
• We’ll load up and drive to the top of a high pass near Kande before dropping in on an unbelievably fun and fast urban ride ending back in lakeside Pokhara, arriving just in time for a stunning sunset!
• We’ll check back into our hotel and get ready to hit the town and celebrate our return to civilization.

Day 11 - Pokhara Ride & Leisure Day

Distance: 8km — Climb: 50m — Descend: 400m

• After a leisurely breakfast in this tropical paradise, we’ll load up and shuttle to the Shanti Stupa, also known as the World Peace Pagoda.
• Soak in the incredible views of Pokhara and the entire Annapurna range, and then drop into a fun singletrack descent through the jungle, and some more urban riding back to our hotel.
• On today’s ride you’re almost guaranteed the opportunity to get up close and personal with plenty of local wild monkeys and other wildlife..
• Enjoy some chill time this afternoon and pack up your bike before heading into town for one last dinner together. Time to celebrate the end of an epic trip!

Day 12 - Fly to Kathmandu, Depart

• After an early breakfast this morning we’ll hop onboard another small aircraft flight returning to Kathmandu.
• Catch your afternoon or evening flights home from Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM), or choose to stay in Kathmandu.
