Our Company

Wandering Wheels is an industry leading, professional mountain bike guiding company based in Revelstoke, British Columbia, Canada. We offer all-inclusive mountain bike vacations, heli-biking trips and tours, guided pedal and shuttle tours, and coaching programs.

We also offer incredible mtb adventures to some of the most unique and exciting riding destinations on earth! We love sharing our knowledge and passion for biking and travelling, and we work tirelessly to create exceptional mtb experiences for all of our guests.

We are a growing company, founded in 2012 by Matt Yaki and Sahana Browning. We started our business here in Revelstoke because we truly believe it is the best place on earth and home to some of the most incredible mountain bike trails in the world!

But these trails don’t build themselves - That’s why we devote hundreds of hours of our own time towards trail maintenance, trail building and community mtb events. We privately organize major projects for trails like Mt. Cartier and Martha Creek and we are very active volunteers for the Revelstoke Cycling Association, a community based non-profit who manages the majority of the great trails in town.

Wandering Wheels holds a License of Occupation Guiding Tenure from the Province of British Columbia. Our tenure area includes the best trails in the Northern Kootenay Region from Revelstoke to Golden, Salmon Arm and South through Nakusp and New Denver. We are supported by all local trail stakeholder groups and each of our international adventures are operated in partnership with locally certified and permitted guides.

When you ride with us, you are directly contributing to financial and volunteer efforts for our local trails! Our entire community thanks you for that and we also encourage you to purchase a membership or make a donation to the Revelstoke Cycling Association, the Golden Cycling Club, or any other club who manages the great trails we all love to ride.

Each of our international trips also gives back to a worthy cause, whether it be volunteer trail building time or donations to a deserving local charity, we always work with our clients and our local guides to find the best ways to contribute. For example, when you book one of our Nepal trips, you help our local guide Om to build schools out of recycled plastic bottles and you help Matt to provide free training programs for local kids and new Nepali mtb guides!

Our BC guides and instructors hold a minimum level 1 PMBIA certificate, or equivalent, as well as a valid Wilderness First Responder certificate, or equivalent. Our drivers are safety screened and hold a Valid Class 4 Commercial Drivers License.
