Bike Fest Revelstoke - A gathering of bike enthusiasts for a weekend of fun and camaraderie! Downtown crit, group rides, kids events and much more. Bike Fest 2015 will be held from September 10 - 13. Bring your whole crew, or if you're riding solo, come make new friends and join in on the epic group rides!
Be sure to visit our two great bike shops while you're in town. Skookum Cycle and Ski is located in the heart of downtown across from the movie theatre. This is where we do most of our Wandering Wheels shuttle pick-ups. Flowt Bikes and Skis is located on Victoria Rd on the way into town and on the way out to the trails. Both are full service bike shops offering a wide variety of bikes and gear. Skookum also does bike rentals.
The Taco Club serves up fresh, homemade tacos and burritos made to order. Their pear salsa is to die for, a local favourite! You can find the Taco Truck parked outside their new location at 107 2nd St E from 3pm onwards.
The Village Idiot is regarded by many locals as the best food in town! This funky ski bar themed restaurant serves amazing pizzas, homemade burgers, delicious pasta dishes and other satisfying entrees. Their large patio overlooks the downtown strip and they have all the best locally brewed beers on tap. If you're really hungry after your big ride, take a look at "The Kitchen Sink." A monster of a sandwich!
The Big Eddy Pub is another great spot to indulge in after your ride. It's located right on the way to the Mt. Macpherson Trails and they've got a free bike wash and repair station set up next to their back patio! They serve classic pub food and their 2-4-1 chicken wings on Wednesdays are always a huge hit! This pub also plays host to many of the best musicians and late night parties in town.
Kawakubo is home to the best sushi in town. It is located downtown and is often filled up during the busy season. Make a reservation here and book one of their private rooms for your group or sit at the bar and watch the fresh rolls being made to order right in front of your eyes!
The Nomad serves great food for a quick meal option. Get combo deals of burgers, sandwiches or wraps, with fresh made fries, onion rings or a salad, and a drink, all for around 10 bucks! There are plenty of healthy options, yummy ice cream and milkshakes, and quick and friendly service. Located on Victoria Rd. near the highway and the railway bridge.
Both Nico's Pizzeria and Padrino's Pizza make delicious pizzas and have a wide variety of menu options. They are both located downtown on 1st St. W. Nico's also has a large seating area and is licensed to serve alchohol.
Paramjit's Kitchen serves delicious homemade Indian, Thai and German specialties. Also located downtown on 1st St. W., this delicious eatery does not serve alcoholic beverages.
Check out The Modern Bakeshop or Sangha Bean for the best coffee in town. "The Modern" as the locals call it, is often lined up out the door with people awaiting their delicious morning fuel. It is located right downtown on Mackenzie Ave. The Sangha Bean is another funky little coffee bar that is very inviting to spend some time in while enjoying fine coffee and tasty treats. It is located just next to Padrino's Pizza near downtown. Another great coffee shop in town is La Baguette, which is located directly behind Cooper's Foods. Aside from coffee, they also serve a great variety of breads, cheeses, and delicious homemade gelato!

There are many developed camping areas in and around Revelstoke which are listed below. You can also find many free camping spots with no services by driving North up Hwy 23, off of Westside Road near Boulder and Frisby Ridge, or by driving up one of many logging roads or Forest Service Roads in the area. Please be respectful of this beautiful area you are staying in. Be kind and co-operative with other users and leave no trace.
